First United Methodist Church is a church making a difference in the world and in the community by connecting people to God through Jesus Christ. We have a strong tradition of community service and outreach and take our identity as the church in the center of town very seriously.

Our congregation is typical of “The Cape” in that our numbers swell in the summer months as we welcome visitors and vacationers into our midst while maintaining a vibrant community of faith year round. Worshiping with us in any season is an uplifting experience and visitors and new comers always find a warm welcome here, inspiring music and a challenging message as we seek to grow and deepen our faith together.
