Pastor: Rev. Dr. Francis M. Gada III (Sonny)
He was ordained in 2009 as an interfaith Pastor, receiving his doctorate in Theology and divinity and metaphysical humanistic sciences. Sonny has served as youth leader, Orleans UMC, and as Director of Christian Education at St. David's Episcopal Church. He is also a Life Coach, Spiritual Awareness, with New Horizons.
Sonny also spent time with the Franciscans at Little Portion Friary - Long Island, New York. Here he was taught and learned the Franciscan way. At the First United Methodist Church in Chatham Sonny leads a weekly meditation group as well as a Faith Book Group.
Sonny is the Northeast regional director of the Biblical Botanical Society. Giving lectures on the flowers and plants in the Bible
In the past Sonny has a background in Horticulture, Botany and Floral Design. During COVID Sonny completed courses in Earth Sciences and has an associates degree in Paleontology and Biblical Archaeology.
Organist - Anna Glig
Ms. Ana Glig is our Church Organist/Pianist and Music Director. Ana is an award winning classical concert pianist praised for her “virtuosic command of works” and “ability to capture hearts.” Ms. Glig has performed internationally in Europe and the United States in solo and chamber settings. As a soloist Glig has appeared with the Georgian and Israeli (Rishon LeZion) Symphonic Orchestras, and most recently with the Cape Symphony and Cape Cod Chamber Orchestras. Ms. Glig is a founder of MusArt interconnections, annual multi-media concerts, which focuses on synthesis of classical music and visual art.
Ms. Glig holds a Masters' Degree in piano performance from the Mannes School of Music, New School (New York City) as well as an Advanced Certificate in Piano Performance and Pedagogy from the NYU Steinhardt, New York University.
Originally from Georgia (Republic), Glig now lives on Cape Cod, Massachusetts, where she continues to perform, teach and work at the First United Church of Chatham. She makes the music program in our worship services inspiring and creative each Sunday morning.
