MAKING A DIFFERENCE

Our purpose statement says that as disciples of Jesus Christ "we are committed to making a difference in the community and in the world through service..."

Here are just a few of the ways we are enacting that purpose statement.

Food Pantry at First United Methodist Church Chatham

We  have a walk-up food pantry of non-perishable goods.  It is located inside the protected area at the first door on the right as you come up the driveway.  People are encouraged to take what they need.  Those that are able are encouraged to bring non-perishable food to add to the pantry.

  • Salvation Army 

  • Scholarships for Local Students furthering their education

  • Ukrainian projects.
