MAKING A DIFFERENCE

Our purpose statement says that as disciples of Jesus Christ "we are committed to making a difference in the community and in the world through service..."

Here are just a few of the ways we are enacting that purpose statement.

Food Pantry at First United Methodist Church Chatham

Our Family Food Pantry is found in the Thrift Shop, Thursday - Saturday, 11-2.  People are encouraged to take what they need.  Donations of non-perishable food are welcomed!

  • UMCOR Emergency Relief Efforts (United Methodist Committee on Relief)

  • Doctors Without Borders

  • Heifer International 

  • Lower Cape Outreach Council 

  • Monomoy Community Services 

  • Salvation Army 

  • Scholarships for Local Students furthering their education

  • Ukrainian projects.
