Making A Difference

Our purpose statement says that as disciples of Jesus Christ "we are committed to making a difference in the community and in the world through service..."

Here are just a few of the ways we are enacting that purpose statement.

Congregate Housing Meals

On any given Sunday you'll find a crew of our faithful members cooking and serving dinner to the residents of Chatham's congregate housing facility for seniors. This wonderful facility is able to offer residents weekend meals because of the volunteer efforts of many churches, community groups and individuals. We are proud to be one of the churches in Chatham that supports the staff by giving them time off and the residents by offering both food for the body and for the spirit as we spend time in outreach with our good friends while serving their meal.
